Leg Warmers - Knitting

This is a great beginner brioche pattern. The leg warmers are a small project, incorporating single-color brioche stitch and each leg warmer is worked straight without shaping. Brioche is a very stretchy modification of ribbing. It consists of a combination stitch with a slipped knit stitch that has a yarn over wrapped around it. This combination is worked by slipping every other stitch purlwise then knitting the slipped stitch and yarn over together in the next row. By its very nature it takes two rows to complete all the stitches on the needle.
