Bern Shawl

I designed this shawl to wear on vacation in Switzerland, anticipating crisp mountain evenings. In reality, there was a heat wave, and the weather was unusually hot. I didn’t wear the shawl on the trip. Despite the unfortunate weather conditions, we had a great time AND I have a beautiful shawl as a memory.

This project is knit using large needles for lacework, making it a quick knit. Great for a gift or as a prayer shawl.
